Frank
feels fortunate for the opportunity to share his love of dance with
students of all ages and feels that this art form should be a tool
for expression and creativity. Although he has been teaching for
many years, Frank is thrilled to be starting his own studio and
looks forward to bringing dance to a new level. At an early
age, he discovered his passion for dance while studying tap dancing.
Later, hip hop become his focus while honing his craft at various
New York City dance studios. As a teenager, Frank was influenced
by spending many hours watching music videos of his favorite musical
artists. Frank has also appeared on MTV and currently dances
for several entertainment companies. He has a B.A. in Communication
Arts and is employed as a Photo Editor for ABC Television.
JoeAvallone
Joe Avallone
has been studying dance since the age of 12. He began with the art
of tap dancing and then went on to jazz, ballet and hip hop. Joe
began passing on his love of dance to children and adults after
winning many platinum and gold medals in Regional and National Competitions. He
is certified to teach dance through Dance Educators of America and
is also a member of the same organization. "The plan is to
make each child's visit to the program a pleasurable and interactive
one. We really want to add a sense of structure and positively impact
each student's life through the art of dance." Joe also has
a BA is Psychology and has been working as a Pre-Vocational Mental
Health Counselor for 3 years.
LaToyaTurner
LaToya
has studied dance since the age of 5. She is schooled in various
dance forms from tap, jazz and ballet to modern, African and hip
hop. LaToya received an Associates degree in Performing Arts
and in Liberal Arts. She also possesses a BFA in Dance Studies.
She has taken part in several dance competitions and festivals where
she has received both training and accolades. She has had
experience teaching people of all ages in the art of dance and is
pleased to continue the education process at theStudio. LaToya
keeps busy as motivational dancer for numerous entertainment companies.
She also works with children as a Teacher Assistant in Special Education.
